My experience for more than 50 years in Information and Communication Technology Industry, primarily in Product Development and Multidisciplinary Technology, helps in mentoring and coaching R&D management and teams.

After five decades in the ICT industry—from designing electronics and later on managing development laboratory at Philips India for first twenty years, I switched over to Software Development and software intensive products.

My primary goal in this blog is to share the technical rigor and management processes required to build products that last, with product developers of the future.

Engineering is my first passion; photography is my second. Both require a sharp eye for detail and an understanding of how individual parts form a beautiful whole.

The posts are organized into three main categories:

“Concept to Concrete” – The Ten Commandments, Practical guides and distilled lessons, designed for consistent and predictable success for Product Development in any domain.

“Product Development”The Technical Foundation, Deep dives into R&D processes, and the “why” behind successful projects.

“Clicks and Places”The World through a Lens, A collection of travel photography exploring the intersection of structure and nature.

I live in Pune, India. I am a Consultant in Technology and Innovations Management, focusing on R&D, Product Development and Intellectual Property.
